A relatively unknown yet highly influential woman in the Model A era was Mary Brooks Picken. Mary transformed millions of women from clothing vendors to seamstresses capable of improving their lives and making money with their sewing machines. Mary published 96 books on sewing, needlework and textile arts.

Want your name, state and photo of your car on the wall in a museum? It can happen! The program is called: My A It is a fundraiser for an individual to contribute and get their name, city/state and a color picture of their car on a metal plaque that will be on the wall in the Model A Ford Foundation, Inc. Museum at the Gilmore grounds in Hickory Corners, MI.


MAFFI Museum Expansion

The Model A Ford Foundation (MAFFI) museum at the Gilmore Auto Museum complex in Hickory Corners Michigan is planning an expansion of the existing Model A museum.


MAFCA National Convention 2022
