Reminder we meet the THIRD SUNDAY of the month, as we had for many years our new location at the Fort Worth Firefighters Local 440 Building. The meeting hall can seat 300, tables available, and the hall has audio/visual equipment.
The club has monthly meetings every month on the third Sunday of the month and are a mix of Social Gathering, Club News and Information. Each month we have a program that often include special guest speakers or little known information about the beloved Model A. Come join us for one of our meetings as our guest.
THIS MONTH:
Caleb Blank retired from the Arlington Police Department after 20years and now works as an Investigator with the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. As an Arlington Police Officer, hebecame a veteran homicide detective and investigated many highprofile cases. He will be bringing his police expertise to our clubthis month to detail Bonnie and Clyde’s DFW crime spree in the1930s.
Tire kickin/sign in at 2:00 PM and meeting begins at 2:30PM.
August After Meeting Dinner At Mama’s Pizza
Following the August 16 meeting we will meet at Mama’s Pizza, 5800 Lovell, just off Camp Bowie West. Watch for the elevated Cobblestone Shoe Repair sign at Lovell and Camp Bowie. The shoe repair is at 5818 Camp Bowie and Mama’s Pizza is behind it on Lovell in the Lovell strip center.
PARKING: Parking spaces available at the building are 30-35 vehicles and if more parking spaces are needed one can park on Frederick St, the side street intersecting Crestline Road, on the south side of the hall. Also, one can park in the Frost Bank lot about 50-75 yards west of the meet-ing hall where Crestline Rd. and Tulsa Way intersect. Parking is restricted on both Crestline Road and Tulsa Way due to keeping Dickies Arena attendees from parking in the neighbor-hood. Watch for signs saying No Parking Without Permit.
