Winnsboro Autumn Trails

We attended this festival October 26th through the 29th.  Autumn Trails in Winnsboro was well attended by approximately 60 FWMAFC members and 30+ member’s Model ’A’s . There were a total of 87 Model ‘A’s in the parade. The Friday night ‘stew’ at the Willis farm was very well attended and the food was great as usual.  Saturday morning found the Model ‘A’s lined up early at the farm and ready for the parade.  The parade always draws a crowd of local Winnsboro and County citizens and they are very enthusiastic to see the Model ‘A’s leading the parade. Shopping at the stores in downtown Winnsboro and the local flea market can consume the rest of Saturday afternoon. The banquet Saturday night is a fun affair as awards are given, including this year, Marilyn Maddox won the Ima Willis award for her participation in many ways in our Model ‘A’ hobby and events, including a long history of attending Autumn Trails. Sunday morning brings a 3 hour tour through the countryside in beautiful East Texas. All in all, it was a great weekend with wonderful weather, seeing old friends while making new ones. All are looking forward to Autumn Trails 2018.
